This is your jury message for Wednesday June 28, 2017.

Jurors in the case AUTOMOTIVE CAPITAL CORPORATION OF ATLANTA INC ET AL. vs. STEPHEN BAGWELL ET AL., being tried in Courtroom 2C, please report as instructed by Judge N. Jackson Harris.

Jurors in the case STATE OF GA vs. JUSTIN CLAY ST. GERMAN, being tried in Courtroom 2A, please report as instructed by Judge A. Dee Morris.

WARNING: TELEPHONE FRAUD INVOLVING JURY DUTY The Cherokee County Clerk of Courts, Patty Baker, or her staff will not call Jurors that have failed to report for Jury Duty service and ask for any personal information such as social security number, birth date, bank account number, or credit card information. It has been reported scammers trying to commit identity theft have been contacting potential victims and telling them they failed to report for jury duty. They ask for confidential information for “verification” purposes and if the information is refused they tell the potential victim a warrant will be issued for their arrest. So far the scam has been reported in Michigan, Ohio, Texas, Arizona, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Oregon and Washington State. There have been recent reports of this scam in the State of Georgia. Please never give out your personal information to any court official over the telephone. The FBI are urging anyone who may receive a phone call regarding jury duty with the intent to commit identity theft to please contact your local FBI office at www.fbi.gov
