Bid Synopsis
***2/15/11: Updated with Addendums Two and Three.***Competitive Sealed Proposals are requested by Cherokee County Board of Commissioners, through its Office of Capital Projects, for the installation of the irrigation system, including the drilling of three (3) wells to be used to replenish existing detention ponds at the Cherokee County Soccer Complex located at 464 Blalock Road, Holly Springs, Georgia, near the intersection with Toonigh Road, in Canton, Georgia, in Cherokee County. This is a project approved and funded as a part of Cherokee County’s Parks, Recreation and Green Space Bond passed by the citizens of Cherokee County in November 2008. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting for this RFP will be held at the Soccer Complex at 2PM local time on Monday, February 7, 2011. Proposals will be received by the Cherokee County Procurement & Risk Management Department, Cherokee County Administrative Complex, 1130 Bluffs Parkway, Canton, GA 30114, telephone (678) 493-6034, until 3:00 p.m., local time on March 8, 2011, and thereafter opened and read aloud. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities and to make an award as deemed to be in the best interest of the County.”
