Bid Synopsis
RFP2011-21 DESIGN/BUILD FOR CHEROKEE COUNTY SENIOR CENTER RENOVATION AND EXPANSION: Competitive Sealed Proposals are requested by the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners, for comprehensive design/build services, inclusive of not less than architectural and engineering design and construction document development services and construction administration and closeout/transition services, and all materials and labor necessary, for the renovation and expansion of the existing Cherokee County Senior Center building, located at 1001 Univeter Road, Canton, Georgia 30115. This is a project approved and funded both by CDBG and SPLOST funds. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting for this RFP will be held at the Senior Center, at 2PM local time on Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Further information about the project, as well as any addenda, will be posted in the Bids/RFP section of the County’s website, at www.cherokeega.com. Proposals will be received by the Cherokee County Procurement & Risk Management Department, Cherokee County Administrative Complex, 1130 Bluffs Parkway, Canton, GA 30114, telephone (678) 493-6034, until 3:00 PM local time on Thursday, July 21, 2011. Proposals will be acknowledged and recorded only, and there will be no award determination at the time of receipt of proposals. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities and to make an award as deemed to be in the best interest of the County.
