The Business License Office for the unincorporated areas of Cherokee County is located next to the Planning and Zoning Office. The fee for a Business License is $30.00 per year for each full time employee or owner. Each part-time employee is $15.00. The fee is not prorated. All Licenses expire on December 31st of the current year.

The zoning classification for the location of the business is required and must be obtained from the Planning and Zoning Department prior to applying for a license.
