The Cherokee County Capital Program Management Division is requesting bids for the following project: Trickum Road at Barnes Road Intersection Improvement Project No. CTSAP-388-367(057) C1 as per 2001 Edition Georgia D.O.T. Standards and Specifications. OPERATION OF BRANDED COFFEE SHOP for New County Administrative Offices and Conference Center
NOTICE: The Walk-Through for the Coffee Shop has been changed to Friday, June 27 at 1:30 PM on site at the Administrative Offices-Conference Center project (1130 Bluffs Parkway) followed by a pre-proposal meeting at 3 PM in the Justice Center, Suite 310 (90 North Street, in downtown Canton). Cherokee County invites the submission of proposals by qualified persons and businesses for the Operation and Maintenance of a Branded Coffee Shop (“coffee shop”). The operation will be located at the Cherokee County Administrative Offices and Conference Center (“Offices”), first floor at 1130 Bluffs Parkway. The goals of the program are to: (1) provide first-class service and a variety of coffees, food and merchandise to patrons of the Cherokee County Administrative Offices and Conference Center; (2) enhance the experience the public has during their visit to the Offices; (3) provide innovative retail concepts that combine broad customer appeal and are representative of Cherokee County; (4) increase the presence and convenience of the Cherokee County Offices to visitors of Technology Park; (5) provide business opportunities for local business Enterprises.

COPY CENTER AND COPIER MAINTENANCE
The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiation to provide services of an on-site copy center to be used by Cherokee County and the general public, as well as a contract for lease and/or maintenance of all copiers currently used by county departments and agencies, as well as a lease agreement for the operation of a copy center business in the new Cherokee County Administration Building and Conference Center. The copy center will provide duplicating and production services for County Agencies, Departments and the general public as a retail copy center, and could also serve as document management center. The copy center is required to be a full service copy center featuring digital output from MAC or PC files, utilizing a full range of reproduction equipment. The copy center must also offer optical disk storage for immediate Print-On-Demand or revision, Variable Data printing from your database, OCR scanning, CD/DVD Duplication, dry mounting, laminating, bindery, fulfillment and more with fast service, competitive pricing, and great attention to detail.

RECYCLING SERVICES IN UNINCORPORATED CHEROKEE COUNTY
The intent of the Request for Proposals would be to gather sufficient detail and information so that the County understands the extent of the recycling benefit being offered by a proposer and the respective component costs associated with said program. Items which would be anticipated to be negotiated as part of the vendor selection process would be the style and size of the recycling container, the amount of space devoted to advertising, frequency of collections, and other details associated with the specific proposal. Each proposer will be expected to submit a detailed business plan that illustrates for the County and evaluation committee how their proposal functions both for revenue and expenditure aspects.

RFP # 2008-01 HOTEL/CONFERENCE CENTER
By means of this Request for Proposal (RFP), The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners (the BOC) invites proposals from qualified developers or development teams to plan, design, finance, construct and operate a hotel of approximately 150 - 200 guest rooms, and operate/manage a 25,000+/- square foot conference center currently under construction by Cherokee County. The project would be sited at THE BLUFFS of Technology Park Cherokee County Office Complex in Canton, Georgia. The selected finalist Developer would either operate the hotel and conference center or lease the facilities (with BOC review and approval) to an operator (or operators). The BOC would open negotiations with the team submitting the proposal (Developer) that the BOC deems to be in its best interest, with the intention of finalizing the ground lease and other necessary agreements by October 1, 2008.
