The Cherokee County Information Technology Department is organized in support of the county departments and agencies. As such IT primary responsibilities are threefold:

1. To provide the stable, responsive computer systems the departments and agencies require to accomplish their missions.
2. To analyze and interpret the progress and direction of the computer industry for the county departments.
3. To strive to keep current in technology and to provide County-wide data processing and telecommunications direction in an effective, secure and cost efficient manner. Our staff provides the county with a wide-range of technical and business skills.
