Mission Statement
The Mission of the Cherokee County Clerk’s office is to maintain and safeguard all documents appropriately presented for recording. We strive to provide quality customer service in a non-partisan and professional manner while affording dignity and respect to every individual.

Sentence Review Panel Abolished

Applies to any sentence imposed on July 1, 2007 or thereafter. Absolute Deadline for filing with existing panel for cases disposed of prior to July 1, 2007, is September 1, 2007, with no exceptions. Timely filing, with due consideration for preparation and mailing time should be taken into account by anyone seeking review. An untimely filing may not arrive on time to the panel and be lost. For more information read Georgia House Bill 197.
