Lost and Found Pets

If you have lost your companion animal, please come to the shelter to verify if we have your lost animal. By law, we are required to keep an animal for 72 hours before it is evaluated for rescue or adoption. For this reason we recommend that you come to the shelter on a regular basis to search for your lost companion animal, either daily or every other day.

During the year 2011, there were over 5,000 animals turned into the shelter. This averages about 450 animals per month or 100 per week. Due to the large numbers of animals we deal with and the large numbers of calls we receive concerning lost animals per day, we are unable to search the shelter for your lost animal.

Please fill out the following form and we will create a lost/found report in our system.
THIS IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF NOTIFICATION SHOULD AN ANIMAL MATCH YOUR REPORT--- YOU MUST COME TO THE SHELTER IN PERSON TO CHECK FOR YOUR PET!!
