The Mission of the Cherokee County Stormwater Management Division is to protect the water quality and aquatic habitat in our streams, rivers, ponds and lakes. The County’s Stormwater Management program includes inspection and maintenance of County stormwater structures, public education and public involvement in stormwater pollution prevention, erosion and sediment control permitting and inspections for property owners, citizen complaints, and illicit discharge detection and elimination.
