SENIOR HOME REPAIR PROGRAM

If you are 62 years of age or older, living in Cherokee County, and own your home, you may be eligible to receive funding for essential home repairs at no cost to you!

The Cherokee County HOME Program is designed to address housing deficiencies and correct safety and health issues.  Repairs have included installation of new water lines, wheelchair ramps, roofing, column supports, accessible toilets and shower stalls.

To qualify, your family income cannot exceed the maximum allowed.

General property improvements are not allowed, such as remodeling, additions, or upgrades.
