CRIMINAL PROSECUTION OF BAD CHECK VIOLATIONS (DEPOSIT ACCOUNT FRAUD)
Whether the issuance of a bad check is a crime will depend on several factors. The elements of the criminal offense of Deposit Account Fraud (Bad Check) are contained in O.C.G.A. 16-9-20.
