Important information for 2013 Alcoholic Beverage License Renewals
published: October 26, 2012
Dear Cherokee County Business Operator:

Beginning November 1st, 2012, the Cherokee County Development Service Center will start processing new alcoholic beverage licenses and their renewals. We have reorganized our operations with the aim of further improving our services to you!
Enclosed you will find the renewal form and consent form for a background check. Please mail all documents to Development Service Center at 1130 bluffs Parkway, Canton, GA 30114. You can reach us by phone at 770-721-7810 or email us at dsc@cherokeega.com. We are open Monday thru Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM

We are excited about our services to you. We invite you to visit our webpage “Development Service Center” on our website www.cherokeega.com for more information. All of our forms are available online.

As a reminder, every person licensed for Alcoholic Beverage License with consumption on premises, must have one or more individuals with a current Manager’s Permit on file in order to renew for 2013.

Any change in regards to licensee, applicant, ownership or address cancels your Alcoholic Beverage License. Please contact our offices as soon as possible and we will be glad to provide you with the appropriate applications.

Applicants must submit the renewal application and payment by November 30th, 2012 to avoid a 10% percent penalty fee. Applications for renewals will not be accepted after December 31st. A business that fails to renew will be required to apply for a new license. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

We would like to wish you a successful 2013 and appreciate you selecting Cherokee County as your place of business!
