The Parks, Recreation and Green Space Bond was successfully created by the citizens of Cherokee County Georgia on the November 4th, 2008 election ballot. It's about investing in our future to ensure a healthier and greener Cherokee County by providing parks, recreational facilities and preserving green space for our children and families.

Imagine paved walking trails with serine sitting areas, new activity centers and recreation facilities for senior adults. Dog owners will be thrilled to have huge areas to run and play with their beloved pets. Families with kids of all abilities will appreciate the improvements to make playground equipment more safe and accessible. Residents for years to come will enjoy the state of the art Aquatics Center, Greenway/ Trail System, Skate Park as well as Soccer and other new and improved sports fields including a Miracle League Field, and so much more!

This is a wonderful opportunity to improve the quality of life for residents of Cherokee County. This will be a wonderful legacy for our children generations to come.
