Erika Neldner has lived and worked in Cherokee County since 2005. Her professional career includes working as a reporter, assistant editor and managing editor of the Cherokee Ledger-News. She also has served as a writer/content specialist and director of marketing & communications for Reinhardt University. Neldner earned the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce’s Top 10 in 10 Young Professionals to Watch Award, as well as many Georgia Press Association and National Newspaper Association awards for her work as a journalist. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Towne Lake and has served as secretary, president and public image chair. Neldner is a graduate of Kennesaw State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Communications and Media Studies and served as the editor in chief of the university student-run newspaper. She lives in Woodstock with her husband and two children.

Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Andrea Barker moved to Cherokee County in 1994. She graduated from Woodstock High School in 2001 and studied at Reinhardt University, graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Barker’s previous work history includes 10 years in marketing and sales for Globus Medical before joining Cherokee County in 2015 as the executive assistant to the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners and County Manager. Barker serves as a member of the Atlanta Regional Commission's Global Advisory Panel and is the current chair for Cherokee County's 2020 Census Complete Count Committee. She currently resides in Marietta with her husband and son.
