The Mission Statement of the Cherokee County DUI/Drug Court is to protect the public safety, and reduce the criminal recidivism rate of repeat DUI offenders through an integrated approach that involves court supervision, substance abuse treatment services, and personal accountability, resulting in positive and long lasting life changes.
Welcome to the DUI/Drug Court website. This website is intended for participant's who are currently in the Cherokee County DUI/Drug Court Program or the Cherokee County Misdemeanor Drug Court Program. There are links to important documents you may need while in the program as well as contact information for the Team Members. Please check back for important updates and announcements. DUI Court will be on January 3rd for all phases. DUI Court Graduation will be January 17, 2019 at 6 p.m. in the Historic Courtroom, everyone must attend.
Misdemeanor Drug Court will be on January 15th and January 29th. All phases must attend every court date.
DUI/Drug Court Office will be closed on Monday, December 24th through Wednesday, December 26th for the Christmas holiday.
DUI/Drug Court office will be closed beginning 3 p.m. on Monday, December 31st and will re-open at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
*NOTICE: Effective January 1, 2017 the DUI Court office will no longer accept cash payments. We will accept money orders and credit/debit card payments with an added fee of 4.95%.
