Cherokee Area Transportation System (CATS) provides public transportation service for residents of Cherokee County.

CATS is a service of the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners utilizing funding provided by Cherokee County, State of Georgia and Federal Transit Administration.
As a recipient of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funds, Cherokee County maintains a Title VI Plan.
