Mission Statement
Cherokee Area Transportation System (CATS) provides public transportation services for residents of Cherokee County.
Mission: Our mission at CATS is to provide excellence in all areas of service that we provide to the citizens of Cherokee County.
Values: We value and support our clients and our fellow employees, and strive to exceed expectations in a safe, courteous, timely, and efficient manner.
CATS is a service of the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners utilizing funding provided by Cherokee County, State of Georgia, and Federal Transit Administration.

COVID-19 UPDATES
**Federal law requires wearing a mask while on the conveyance and failure to comply may result in denial of boarding or removal. 2. Refusing to wear a mask is a violation of federal law; passengers may be subject to penalties under federal law.
** Starting August 3rd, all passengers will have their temperatures taken prior to getting on the bus & temperatures 100.4 or higher will not be allowed to ride the bus.
We ask that if you have a fever, are experiencing flu-like symptoms or believe you have been exposed to Coronavirus COVID-19, please do not utilize the CATS system at this time. We regret the inconvenience this may cause our ridership and will continue to communicate future changes to this temporary suspension of service through press releases to local media outlets, on our website and through our social media sites.

Reasonable Modification/Accommodations
The Department of Transportation has issued revised rules under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to ensure that public transportation entities make Reasonable Modifications / Accommodations to its policies, practices, and procedures to ensure program accessibility for persons with disabilities.
Please use the "COMMENT AND MODIFICATION REQUEST FORM" under the Forms and Documents tab to submit your request.
