Vanpool Service

All forms and documents are available in alternate formats (i.e.CD, Braille, Large Print, Audiotapes, or Email )

What is the CATS van pool?

Think about it like carpooling…
A vanpool is a group of commuters who live in the same neighborhood and work near each other. You will meet at a central location [for example, Park & Rides in Cherokee County, or local shopping plaza] and drive straight to work! Participants share the driving responsibilities equally.

CATS is partnered with Commute with Enterprise to provide newer model vehicles, insurance at ZERO deductible, maintenance, and roadside assistance is included as well! FREE PEACH PASS for Northwest Express Lanes on i-575!!

How much will the van pool service cost me?
Costs vary by round trip distance and number of riders per vehicle. Cherokee County offers a vanpool subsidy that pays 50% of the lease amount and fuel. The remaining cost is divided equally. Your company may offer alternative commute subsidy that can be combined with Cherokee County!

Enjoy the Ride, Get Some Work Done or Spend Some "Me Time"
What other rewards are offered to CATS vanpool participants?
Participants can earn additional rewards through Georgia Commute Options. Click Here for more information about incentive programs.

You'll spend more of your time relaxing and less time worrying about battling traffic. You can prepare for your day, read a book or talk to your friends. You might even feel more relaxed when you get home!

Spend Less Money on Your Commute

Driving solo to and from work every day adds up. You can save by splitting the cost of fuel, lower auto insurance premiums, fewer maintenance appointments, and reducing wear and tear on your vehicle. Some riders save up to $6,000 a year or $500 a month!
