The Cherokee Office of Economic Development (COED) is Cherokee’s leading organization for business and film recruitment, industry retention and expansion, and entrepreneurship support. As a result of these efforts, Cherokee enjoys a diversified tax base, keeping the burden off of local residents. COED also spearheads the Cherokee Workforce Collaborative and serves as a clearinghouse for employers to find talent and for residents to find jobs. COED is located in the historic Woodstock Elementary on the Chattahoochee Technical College Campus. The office manages The Circuit, Cherokee’s first coworking space, in partnership with Chattahoochee Tech and the Woodstock Office of Economic Development.
