Town Hall Meeting - Board of Commissioners - Sales Tax Discussion: LOST vs. HOST vs. TSPLOST
The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners will host seven Town Hall meetings to receive public input on the possible implementation of an additional sales tax. The options being discussed are a Local Option Sales Tax, a Homestead Option Sales Tax, and a Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax. (LOST, HOST, and TSPLOST.) The meetings will be held at the locations listed below:
January 8 Cherokee County Admin Complex, Cherokee Hall, 1130 Bluffs Pkwy, Canton from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
January 10 Rec Center, 7545 Main St., Blg. 200, Woodstock from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
January 15 Hickory Flat Gym, 4835 Hickory Rd., Canton from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
January 16 Cherokee County Admin. Complex, Cherokee Hall, 1130 Bluffs Pkwy., Canton from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
January 17 BridgeMill Fire Station, 9550 Bells Ferry Rd., Canton from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
January 22 Oak Grove Fire Station, 100 Ridgemill Ct., Acworth from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
January 23 The "Buzz", Victory Hall, 7345 Cumming Hwy, Canton from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
