ATTENTION!!!!

In light of the state of emergency causing many closures of Clerks’ offices to walk-in traffic, the Authority has offered Clerks the option to provide promo codes to constituents, which will provide 30 days of free access to the statewide Authority search site www.gsccca.org. This offering will help bridge the gap for those customers who normally access the search terminals in our office. As part of this offering, promo-codes will NOT charge print fees and can be activated between now and April 30th, 2020. Please contact the Cherokee County Clerk's Office at 678-493-6535 for your promo code.
 
To activate/redeem a promo code, users should go to https://account.gsccca.org/promo/ and follow the prompts.

Effective immediately, the Deed Department and Record Room will be closed to the public until further notice.

In an effort to protect the safety of the staff and the citizens who utilize our services we are limiting access to the Deeds & Records Department to our staff only.

All deed and lien filings will be accepted via eRecording (fastest option), USPS, FedEx, or UPS only. Approved e-Record vendors can be found at https://www.cherokeega.com/…/deeds-and-records-de…/e-filing/. E-recording is secure, simple, and can be done from your home or office – reducing the risk of spreading COVID-19. The mailing address for USPS, FedEx or UPS filings is 90 North Street, Ste G150, Canton GA 30114.

For organizations that submit documents to the Cherokee County Deed Office via (express) mail, runner or courier service, the availability of e-recording services means that you are able to securely and cost-effectively file documents with the county through a web browser from the comfort and convenience of your office. E-Recording not only saves you time and money, it also accelerates document recordings, increases your office productivity, and increases the security of documents you file with the county.
