DUI/Drug Court

DUI Court Application

Cherokee County DUI Court is currently operating at program capacity. Applications will be accepted as space becomes available for eligible participants only. Entry into DUI Court will be at the discretion of the DUI Court team, not on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you are interested in applying or have an eligible client, please contact the Program Coordinator or DUI Court office for the current application process. Priority will be given to pending cases in Cherokee County.

Eligibility Criteria:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must be a Cherokee County resident

Deemed legally eligible for DUI Court by Solicitor's Office or referring Court (i.e. 2 or more DUI arrests within 5 years, no violent felonies, etc.)

Meet the diagnostic criteria for Substance-Use Disorder

Cannot have any outstanding warrants, VOP's, or ICE holds

Must refrain from using unauthorized prescription medications while in program
