Capital Projects Update
The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners are committed to improving facilities and infrastructure in Cherokee County through Capital Projects. A Capital Project is financed by public funds obtained through the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) which are used to build, renovate, or buy equipment, property, facilities, parks in addition to infrastructure and information technology systems that are to be used as a public asset or to benefit the public.
Conference Center
Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge, where “metro meets the mountains,” is a remarkable, modern venue of majestic glass, natural stone and grand space: The Northside Cherokee Conference Center at The Bluffs. Featuring more than 15,000 square feet of versatile, multi-purpose areas, this warm and inviting event facility is the host site of hundreds of occasions annually.
